I’ve been watching the fiber factor, and I like to share the pictures of finished objects with James and see what he thinks. He really liked the cowl that Steve May made for the 3rd challenge, he loved the texture and simplicity of it. I had brought some fyberspates rural charm at Unravel in a colour I thought he’d like (pebblebeach) and I wanted to make something for him with it, so I chose to use Steve’s concept for his piece, but using thinner yarn and knitting lengthwise rather than in the round.

p.s. the picture of James was taken by me… that’s why it’s not up to our normal standards, but James said it was the best of the bunch that I took. At least it has the whole cowl and the top of his head in!
