Feather and Fan Comfort Shawl by Sarah Bradberry

#9: Flower and Tiles Pullover completed! First project combining knitting and crochet, great idea! Enjoying wearing this. It’s the first project that someone else has asked if I can make them one too, so you never know!

I added an extra motif in the middle centre to make the neckline higher, it was much too low on me before.

After I tried it on with the ribbing around the neckline before sewing it, it was really going to be too tight across my boobs once it was sewn, so I added ribbing along the front centre and joined that to the neckline ribbing. I should have done the neckline ribbing in the round, but that would have meant undoing and redoing a lot of work, so I just seamed my new panel as neatly to the original ribbing as possible.
