Oblique Motion by Jennifer Thompson

Finally finished the hardest project I've ever attempted, this has taken me since April so a very long time for me. This is because it was too hot to knit alpaca in the summer and once I got into the body, the pattern was very repetitive and boring. The sleeves practically flew off the needles at the end and I was so pleased to finally finish it.

I thought the project would be challenging because of the double knitting, but in reality the challenge was perservering until it was finished!

The pattern is: Oblique Motion by Jennifer Thompson. I brought it in last years indie gift a long.

I used drops alpaca - the cream was leftover from my sister and her hubbies wedding gift. I think the yarn must be way overestimated because I have a lot of yarn left, I see some baby cardigans in this colour palette on the horizon.

I've decided against having a fasterning on it, it is a boxy shape and really I could have done with increasing at the waist to allow for my hips, it's very snuggly though and I am seriously happy with it.
